External Doors
At Sanderson’s Joinery we make a wide variety of external doors from traditional to modern ie cottage style, Georgian, Victorian, French doors etc or individually to the customer’s own design.
Our external doors are constructed using traditional mortise and tenoned joints making them stronger and more durable and are 45 mm or 57 mm thick (unless specified otherwise).
Nothing is too big or too small, we can make all shapes and sizes to suit your opening.
Pre-Hung Door
When you order a new frame with your door together, we are able to offer a pre-hanging service. That means it will be delivered to you with the door installed into the frame with all ironmongery and locks. So all you have to do is remove the old door and put in the new one in its place.
Pre-Finishing
If you would like your new door or door and frame pre-finished, here at Sanderson’s Joinery we also offer an in-house full factory spray finishing service. We offer either painted or in a natural coating to suit your needs. Paint and coating products do not contain lead, chrome or other heavy metal additives.
Part Q Building Regulations
As of October 2015, Approved Document Q has made it mandatory for windows and doorsets to be manufactured to a design that has been shown by test to meet the security requirements of PAS 24:2012. By 1st October 2016 all accessible doors and windows supplied to new build properties will have to be proven to be secure by testing to PAS 24:2012 or other means.
At Sanderson’s Joinery we have both our external doors and our ‘A’ Rate High Performance Flush Casement Windows Part Q compliant certificated to building regulations.
